Chapter 12 - Achievement, Duplicity and Dissatisfaction

at #3 Heritage Trail - home of Estarr Genester Jitmakusol Platz (continued from chapter 7)

Estarr (gen2- knowledge- age 51) used her time on her last maternity leave to good advantage, developing unique recipes and making all the necessary plans for a restaurant of her own. When she was able to go back to work she immediately set in motion the necessary financial arrangements and was soon the owner of a fine new restaurant, The Peacock Garden. She featured exotic cuisine with a middle eastern flavor. Her new venture kept her very busy and most of the care of the three babies fell to the others in the family.

Off to work at The Peacock Garden

Chandler (fortune-age 49) didn't mind the child care. Since he waited so late in life to become a father he was thoroughly enjoying caring for his children. Being the owner of an established landscape gardening business he was free to set his own hours and could come and go as he pleased. That also made it easy to continue his intrigue with his wife's niece, Bertillis.

He's wasn't really sure how he got into that. He had considered her just a charming child when she kept seeking him out at family gatherings during her teen years but when she transitioned to adult she really became a hot tamale. That day she asked him to advise her on landscaping her new home was one that would live in his memory forever. And he couldn't seem to stay away from her no matter how much he wanted to. And he did want to for he did not want to endanger his marriage. He had loved Estarr since he was a teen and loved her even more now than he did then. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her. But he couldn't seem to help himself. When Bertillis called him he had to go. She was like a drug that he could not stay away from. And she always needed money too. Luckily he didn't have to account to Estarr for his business finances.

Jeekobey (gen3-romance- age 22) enjoyed his counseling positions. He did some group therapy and also was counselor at a children's camp. But he didn't like having to fill in as babysitter so much at home. He liked his little siblings, loved his mother and considered Chandler a good friend. But he wanted a life of his own. Specifically a lovelife. And he didn't see any way to get that without moving out. The rare occasions when he could go out he was usually too tired to do so. If he could find a compatible roommate he would be all set.

Jeekobey is bored.

Bethesda (gen3 -romance - age 15) also felt like she had no life. Babysitter par excellence 24/7. Babies were fun once in a while but dirty diapers were the pits. And she had had her fill. She had boyfriends aplenty but they were all phone friends. She never got a chance to go out. She knew that Jeekobey was thinking of moving and wondered if she could convince him - and mother - to let her move out with him. What fun they could have together!! Party city!!

The time arrived for the twins first transition. Estarr as usual had to be at work so Chandler arranged a little party for his babies.

First Calder transitioned.

Then Carissa.

During the festivities Bethesda thought she saw her father going up the stairs.

But later decided it must have been her imagination. She wasn't just imagining things though. Korey was there and wandered around the house for some time that night though he disturbed no one.

The three youngest in the family were all toddlers now, with Chalmer due for his second birthday very soon. Then he would be off to school.

Will Chandler be able to break his addiction or will Estarr find him out? Will Jeekobey manage to get a love life? Will Estarr allow Bethesda to move out before she graduates? Stay tuned to All My SimChildren for the answers. Eventually.
